Making a Nature Bracelet

It is such a pretty day today it makes me want to go on a walk. I think I’ll grab the 2 preschoolers next door and we’ll make a bracelet. We’ll get in our exercise too.

Supplies needed: masking tape (about one inch wide) or colorful duct tape

Cut a strip of masking tape and fit it on child’s arm with the sticky side out. As you go for a walk the child will look for nature items to make a beautiful bracelet. One at a time they will add a tiny rock, a little leaf, a small flower, or whatever they find that can fit on their bracelet. You can talk about colors and even patterns. You will be amazed at how creative and beautiful these bracelets will be and what a wonderful opportunity to talk about the beautiful world God made! The finished product will be awesome and they will be so proud of it. So simple and fun!
