Jacket flip

We have had a cold winter and helping our child put on coats and sweaters has been constant. My motto is: “Never do for a child what they can do for themselves.” You will simply love teaching them how to put on their coats all by themselves.

Lay the jacket on the floor on its back with the front opened and sleeves stretched out. Let the child stand in back of the jacket close to the neck. Then the child will simply reach down and put his arms in the arm holes and then stand up pulling the jacket over their head. They will be so happy to be doing it “all by themselves”.
