Drums are great

Supplies needed:

A store bought drum or a homemade drum from a large coffee can, or oatmeal box. It can be covered with contact paper or your child can create his own design.  If you don’t have  stick just use you hand to beat the drum.

There are many ways to beat a drum and create a variety of sounds.You can make big booms  or light taps, slow beats or fast beats.  You can use you hand, your thumb, your fingers, and your fist.
