Freeze Dance

Supplies needed:

Music to play for the dance.  Use a variety so the children can make their dance match the speed and beat of the music.

Add scarves, ribbons, crepe paper streamers, or instruments as you  like.

Put the music on and the child can dance.  When you suddenly stop the music the child must “freeze” in that position until the music starts again.  This is always a favorite activity to use up some energy.
