Recycle those Valentines and treasure the memories

Last night I went to my daughter Ruths home and discovered her dinning room table set with placemat made by her children years ago when they were preschoolers….two are now in college.  Of coarse Grandma had led the activity.  These placemats are used every year and everyone loves of memories of days gone by.  So I just have to pass it on to you cause I know you must have some valentines around your house today.

Supplies needed:

Valentines, paper lace hearts, stickers, etc.

Poster board  cut into placemat size for the mats (one for each person in the family plus quests)

Glue and scissors

Put the materials on table and give each person his own placemat to decorate.  It should be their design.  When they are finished let them write their name on it so it can be identified in years to come. Mom and Dad be sure you make your mats along with the children to make it more fun for everyone.
