About Helen Reynolds

I was actually born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Not many of us left!  I graduated from University of Florida (Go Gators!) with a degree in Elementary Education and then earned my Masters in Religious Education from Southern Seminary in 1959.  I married my sweetheart, Ray, the same year and have been married now for 51 years!  We went on to serve together in churches in Florida and Atlanta before heading  to Europe with our three young children. We spent 27 years in Germany and Belgium as missionaries where I taught in a DOD school and established preschools and kindergarten programs in our churches. After several years of teaching I decided my passion was in training parents and teachers how to work with children so I developed a workshop that I presented in over 12 European countries and had translated into five languages.  I continue teaching preschoolers today and enjoy being an active Grandmother to my 6 grandchildren. I also enjoy gardening, cooking and throwing parties!

  7. Helen,

Ray has been telling me (bragging to me) about your blog. I have to say, he has ever right to brag, it is a wonderful blog. I wish your blog was around when my kids were in preschool but now I have a 9th grader and a 7th grader.

Helen, you are one of my spiritual heroes. You have used your gifts to share love and spiritual truths to the nations through any forum that God has given you. My family benefitted greatly from your ability to teach parenting skills and by your witness. I just want to thank you not only from me but from all those whose lives you continue to touch.

Helen – what a surprise you’re doing all this! And, dumb me, I thought all you did was take care of the children and Ray! (Ha) More power to you; I am amazed at all you’ve done and are doing; it’s way beyond my understanding. – Hal
